M/s. VETRI ENGINEERING was promoted in 2009 by Engineering Professional with significant prior experience in the Polymer processing & mechanical industry. Vetri Engineering is an ISO 9001-2008 certified organization and the manufacturing facilities spread over more than 36000 sq.ft in Salem, Tamilnadu, South India, which is well connected by Road and Rail network. The nearest Airport is Coimbatore & Trichirapalli which is 150 km from Salem. Now , Vetri Engineering has diversified into oil field equipments, Defence Production units and Power Mettallurgy Products and Material Handling equipment parts.

>  Moulding

Compression and Transfer moulding facility is available with press size from 300 X 300 mm to 1200 X 2400 mm with pressing capacity of 30 tonnes to 480 tonnes / cm2. Heavy duty presses are available for manufacturing various types of endless products. The presses are of latest PLC controlled, fully automated in nature. Moudling shop is backed with captive 125 KVA generators.

Moulding shop is spread over more than 20,000 sq.ft with EOT crane 3 tonnes capacity for heavy duty rubber moulding. Product manufactured in this shop includes various types of gaskets, mountings, endless belts, seals, washers, insert mouldings pads, wear resistant liners, etc.,

We are using advanced synthetic rubbers like Fluro Corbon , Fluro silicone , HNBR silicone, Nitrile , Poly Chloroprene etc., Products are designed and manufactured to function from – 40 C to 350 C. Our products mainly used in the material handling systems, Oil Field equipments, Thermal Engineering and Defense Production Units.

> Machine Shop

Machine shop spread over more than 16000 sq.ft with EOT crane facility 3 tonnes. Machine shop infrastructure is developed in such a way to handle all types of Heavy duty and precision machining, turning, drilling, welding etc., NC machines and conventional machines are equally placed in different shops. The machine shop is fully backed with captive power 125 KVA Diesel genset.

To support the NC machines, original design and manufacturing software is installed in this department. The maximum N.C turning dia is 500 mm X 1500 mm length with supporting study rest. Horizontal machining, Vertical machining, Boring, Turning, Grinding is all available under one roof.

High hardness materials and Heavy alloy metals are processed regularly to Cater Thermal Engineering, Oil Field equipment, Defence sector, Material Handling systems etc.

> Powder Mettalurgy

Is the subject which is fast growing all over the world and in India it is slowly gaining its momentum. The state of the art plant is equipped with suitable batch type sintering furnace with the facility to take out the product in a controlled atmosphere, temperature and load. Since already we have gained good experience in Mixing, moulding and machining adding another facility to cater to the new range of customer is not a difficult task.

Here, we are manufacturing Damper bearing far high temperature (400oC) Thermal Engineering applications, Sintered bronze bushes for self lubrication and Oil less bearing applications. Ceramettalic Disc is an another product which we have recently developed for defence production units. Spectro analysis, special Type of copper coatings Hardening and tempering and machining is the part & parcel of this product manufacture.
